What working with Familara looks like
Six things that shape how we work and what you can count on.
No obligation structure
Each offering is self-contained. You book what you need, when you need it — nothing more.
Small groups by design
Seminars cap at eight participants. Everyone gets to speak, not just listen.
Strict confidentiality
Nothing shared in a session leaves that room. We do not use participant content for any other purpose.
English-first delivery
All seminars and materials are in plain English — accessible for international and mixed-background families in Phuket.
Truly neutral facilitation
Facilitators hold the structure of a conversation without steering it. No side-taking, no advice on personal decisions.
Flexible scheduling
Morning, afternoon, and Saturday slots available. We arrange timing around your household, not a rigid calendar.
In More Detail
Each benefit, explained
Experience in community education
The Familara team brings background in community education, household organisation, and informal group facilitation developed over more than a decade working across Southeast Asia. This isn't a general consulting background applied to family topics — it's work that was specifically shaped around families from the start.
- Facilitators trained in structured neutral facilitation methods
- Seminar content developed and refined across multiple cohorts
- Records templates tested with real households in Phuket
Clear, pre-shared structure
Every seminar and facilitation session follows a written structure that participants receive beforehand. You know what will be covered and in what order — there are no surprise exercises, no unexpected disclosures asked of you, no pressure to participate in any way you haven't opted into.
- Session outline emailed 48 hours before attendance
- Brief written summary sent after each session
- Records package includes a walkthrough of how to use it
Personal, unhurried service
Familara deliberately stays small. There is no call centre, no automated intake form that substitutes for a real conversation. When you reach out, a member of the team responds directly. We take time to understand what you're actually looking for before recommending anything.
- Responses within one working day
- Initial conversation before any booking is confirmed
- Same person handles your inquiry and your session
Transparent, standalone pricing
All three offerings are priced individually with no hidden add-ons. The records package (฿13,000) includes setup and the walkthrough. The facilitation session (฿30,500) covers the full session for one family group. Seminar places (฿3,400 per person) are billed per seat, so you pay for exactly how many people attend.
- No subscription, no renewal fees
- Prices quoted in Thai Baht, inclusive of applicable tax
- Invoice provided on request
Modest, honest outcomes
We don't promise transformation. What we do offer is a well-run session or a well-designed tool that leaves participants with something concrete and usable. Families who have worked with us typically mention that they have a clearer sense of what to say — or where to find a document — on any ordinary day afterwards.
- Practical takeaways from every seminar and session
- Records tools designed to stay useful long after setup
- No outcome promises we can't stand behind

What Sets Us Apart
Distinctive features of Familara's work
Records tools built for Thai households
The Family Records Organisation package was developed around the specific documents, contacts, and references that households in Thailand commonly need to track — Thai IDs, lease records, insurance, emergency contacts across borders.
Paper and digital — your choice
The records system works with both physical folders and digital files. No app subscription, no cloud dependency. Families adapt it to how they already like to manage things.
Cross-cultural family experience
Familara's facilitators are experienced with the particular dynamics of mixed-nationality households — where different communication habits, expectations, and language backgrounds all share the same dinner table.
Post-session written summaries
After every seminar and facilitation session, participants receive a brief written note covering the structure of what was covered — not what anyone said, but what framework was used. Something to refer back to on an ordinary day.
